Hello, my name is Ty Kellett and I am the owner of 98 Vision. The company was started in 2009 after I had a big accident, which nearly cost me my life. Through this unfortunate circumstance, I started to take my hobby as a filmmaker to the next level. This led to an amazing opportunity to work alongside Alex Rankin (from WFO media) and also Mikey Neale (from Moto Magazine). Whilst working with these two guys I started working on my own projects, which led to the creation of my company.
I first started to become interested in media during 2006, this was because I was unable to take part in my main passion of motorcycle racing, due to breaking my leg. As I was not being able to take part in my racing, I picked up a camera instead.
I love the creativity and freedom to develop techniques and different ways of getting the shot that is in my head into the camera. Once the footage is out of the camera and on the computer, the creativity and freedom it offers carries on in the editing process. This gives me enthusiasm and excitement to create something that will bring enjoyment to others.
